Job Description
We are looking for a diligent and organized Test Administrator to oversee and manage standardized testing sessions, ensuring that all procedures and protocols are followed to maintain a fair and secure testing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Administration: Set up and administer exams in accordance with testing guidelines, including preparation of the testing environment, distribution of test materials, and adherence to security protocols.
- Candidate Guidance: Greet and check in candidates, verify identification, and provide clear instructions regarding the test process, rules, and procedures.
- Security Monitoring: Maintain test security by monitoring candidates during the test, ensuring no unauthorized materials or actions compromise the integrity of the exam.
- Problem Resolution: Address any issues or disruptions that arise during testing sessions, including technical difficulties, candidate questions, or other irregularities.
- Data Entry and Reporting: Record and report test results accurately, ensuring all documentation is completed and stored per company policies.
- Equipment Setup and Troubleshooting: Set up computer systems, internet connections, and other equipment as needed for computer-based exams, resolving minor technical issues if they occur.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with all testing center policies and procedures, including confidentiality and data protection regulations.
- End-of-Test Procedures: Collect and organize completed tests, materials, and equipment, ensuring the testing area is reset for future sessions.
Job Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Qualification: Diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in test administration, proctoring, or a customer service role is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency with computer systems and common software; familiarity with test administration software is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a high level of integrity.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time efficiently, follow procedures accurately, and handle multiple tasks in a structured manner.
- Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of data protection and confidentiality requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in test administration, proctoring, or educational testing.
- Experience in a similar role in an educational, testing, or corporate environment.
- Familiarity with standardized testing protocols and procedures.
Work Environment:
- Testing sessions may occur in various locations and may require availability on weekends or evenings.
- Some standing and movement may be required during testing sessions.
