We are looking for a senior Business Development Manager who can Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization. Plan approaches and pitches, and handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.

 

  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders/principals.

  • Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, objectives, planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives

  • Participate in pricing the solution/service.

  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.

  • Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.

  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.

  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.

  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.

  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.

  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.

  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills

Duties & Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients, Plan persuasive approaches and pitches to convince potential clients to do business with the company.

  • Must develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. They are also required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.

  • May manage the activities of others responsible for developing business for the company.

  • Should be confident enough to interact and have business meetings with KAS / IAS Officers and other Senior Govt. Officials like Project Directors, Mission Directors. 

  • Develop the pipeline of new business through strategic planning.

Job Requirements

Required Skills, Abilities and Qualifications: 

  • Analyze current and past financial data, such as sales reports, and provide strategies to cut costs and increase revenue.

  • Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.

  • Create and improve proposals for our existing and new clients.

  • Prepare the company budget and continually track expenses, as well as make sure we’re on track to hit revenue targets.

  • Provide training and mentoring to members of the business development team.

  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive

  • Proficient in PowerPoint Presentations, Word, Excel, Outlook, and comfortable using a computer for various tasks.

  • Networking, Persuasion, Prospecting, Public Speaking, Research, Writing, Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Identification of Customer Needs and Challenges, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism, CRM, and Microsoft Office.
