We are seeking a qualified, enthusiastic, energetic and ambitious Software Business Development Executive to join our team and build a strong portfolio of clients.

Objective: The Sales & Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting the organization in the development and implementation of its marketing, business development, and public relations plans. This will be accomplished through developing, maintaining and expanding marketing channels/methodologies to the professional community, educational professionals, industry and the public at large.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients, Plan persuasive approaches and pitches to convince potential clients to do business with the company.

  • Must develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. They are also required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.

  • May manage the activities of others responsible for developing business for the company.

 

Job Requirements

Required Skills, Abilities and Qualifications: 

  • Analyze current and past financial data, such as sales reports, and provide strategies to cut costs and increase revenue.

  • Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.

  • Create and improve proposals for our existing and new clients.

  • Prepare the company budget and continually track expenses, as well as make sure we’re on track to hit revenue targets.

  • Provide training and mentoring to members of the business development team.

  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive

  • Proficient in PowerPoint Presentations, Word, Excel, Outlook, and comfortable using a computer for various tasks.

  • Networking, Persuasion, Prospecting, Public Speaking, Research, Writing, Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Identification of Customer Needs and Challenges, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism, CRM, and Microsoft Office.
