Literacy is a key for socio-economic progress

KEONICS has been entrusted with the task of conducting the Online Computer Literacy Test in association with the Centre for e-Governance. As per the Government Order No:DPAR 104 e-Gov 2014 dated 2nd December 2014, all Government employees are required to take the Online Computer Literacy Test ( i.e refer GO No DPAR 43 SCR 2008 Bangalore dated 07.03.2012) for which employees need not pay for the 1st attempt. However, any employee attempting to clear the Online Computer Literacy Test in a 2nd attempt or any further attempt is required to pay an Exam Fee of Rs 310.00 +banking service charges.

Registration Subsystem

This subsystem captures all details of candidate for registration and interacts with the HRMS for validation.

Question Bank Subsystem

Subsystem handles all functionality related to question items and question bank.

Data Storage Subsystem

The core of the system is the data storage, where the critical data is classified and stored according to the security requirements i.e. confidentiality, integrity and availability.

Central Control Subsystem

Central Control Subsystem will provide all the centralized services, the software to be provided by the vendor. Local Test Centre Subsystems should not access Central Control Subsystems without authorization.

Local Test Centre Subsystem

Each Test center has a Local Test Center Subsystem. It ensure that Local Database is updated with candidate’s score card after the session.

Operator Center

Operator Center host Central Servers with dual redundancy and connected to 25 Mbps aggregated bandwidth. Operator Center will have connectivity through MPLS/ Internet on fail over mode.

Local Test Center

Local Test should be able to accommodate at least 20-30 computer terminals. Local Test Centers will have dual connectivity through Internet/ MPLS of at least 512 Kbps.

Monitoring Center

Central Monitoring Center will provide all the IT Infrastructure that is required for monitoring the network, local test centers and progress of the test and provide status report.
